SurfBuddy lets riders plan sessions, find other riders and exchange messages. These terms govern service use. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Safety limits

You decide whether and where to ride. Wind, spot information and measurements may be inaccurate or outdated. Jump heights are estimates. SurfBuddy is not a rescue service or reliable safety monitoring system; check-ins contact nobody. Tell someone on shore and follow local rules.

Account and content

Provide accurate information and share only content you have rights to use. You retain your rights and permit processing and display necessary for the features and visibility you select. Do not share other people’s personal information without permission.

Prohibited content

Harassment, threats, hate speech, discriminatory or sexually violent content, child sexual exploitation, unlawful content, spam and deliberately false hazard or spot information are prohibited. Inappropriate content may be removed and abusive accounts restricted.

Reports and blocking

Report concerns in the app or by email and block riders as needed. Spot chats are public. Do not post confidential information or credentials.

Ending use and privacy

Delete your account at Profile → Settings → Delete account. An iCloud connection is required. See the privacy policy for data handling and rights.

Law and availability

Spanish law applies subject to mandatory rules of your home jurisdiction. Statutory liability, consumer rights and competent courts remain unaffected. Maintenance, network failures and Apple changes may interrupt availability.
